LUDOPIA/TODDLERS LAB

The Toddlers Lab is an open preschool playground with visual, sound and theater elements. Here children are introduced to technology in a playful and interactive way.

Nothing scientific, but very everyday things like a twist drill, a pulley, something that hinges. They get to work with material perception, light, shadow, gravity and suchlike.

The children are introduced to unusual ways of interacting. There is no mouse or touch-screen involved, but there is a digital hop-scotch, a party garland machine and an air pump game. All in the quirky but attractive Wiersma & Smeets design.

Prior to play, a short demonstration can be provided, in a darkened room. This introduces some of the play equipment and demonstrates how to handle it.

Free walk-in is also possible in (time) blocks to be agreed upon.

'LUDOPIA' is for anyone ages 2½ to 4 and lasts approximately 60 minutes. Floor space minimum 60 m².
